Choosing a format
PNG is lossless and keeps transparency — best for graphics, logos, and screenshots. JPG produces smaller files and is a good default for photos, with an adjustable quality slider to balance size against sharpness. WebP is similar to JPG but often produces smaller files at comparable quality, and also supports a quality slider.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Every conversion happens locally in your browser using your own device — your
files are never uploaded to a server.
Can I convert multiple images at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like, pick one target format, and click "Convert
& Download" — each one downloads in turn. Your browser may ask permission to
allow multiple downloads; that's a normal security prompt for this kind of batch
action.
What happens if I convert an animated GIF?
Only the first frame is kept — the conversion produces a single static image, not
an animation. If you need to preserve animation, keep the file as a GIF instead of
converting it.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with white
in the output. Use PNG or WebP instead if you need to keep transparency.
