Online Notepad

Jot something down and share it with a short link. Anyone with the link can open and edit it β€” great for quick shared notes and scratchpads.

Not saved yet 0 / 100,000

Notes are saved for 90 days after the last edit. Anyone with the link can view and edit β€” don't put sensitive information here.

A notepad that comes back when you do

Write a note, click save, and you get a short link. Open that link any time β€” on any device β€” and your note is right there. Share it with someone and you both see the same note. No account, no setup.

How it works

Type your note and click "Save & Get Link" to generate a shareable URL. Once a note exists, further edits autosave about a second and a half after you stop typing β€” you'll see the status change to "Saved" once it's synced. Open the same link on any device or share it with someone else to collaborate on the same note.

Frequently asked questions

Is my note private?
No β€” anyone who has the link can open, read, and edit the note. There's no password or login. Treat the link like a key: don't share it anywhere you wouldn't want the contents seen, and don't paste sensitive information (passwords, personal details, financial info) into a note.

How long is a note kept?
90 days from the last time it was edited. If you or someone else keeps editing a note, the clock resets each time. If the link goes unused past 90 days, the note expires and the link stops working.

Can someone else edit my note without me knowing?
Yes β€” anyone with the link has full edit access, the same as you. If several people open the same link and type at the same time, the most recent save wins, so it's best used for one editor at a time or casual collaborative notes rather than simultaneous editing.

Is there a length limit?
Yes, 100,000 characters per note β€” the counter above the text box tracks this as you type.

Good for

Quick shared to-do lists, pasting text between your phone and computer, jotting ideas in a meeting, or handing someone a note without email. For anything private or permanent, use a tool with accounts and passwords instead.
